Three traditional music groups performed on the online music event during a four-night concert series.
Kamancheh, also known as the Persian spiked fiddle, Tar (string instrument) and Tombak (Iranian goblet drum) have been among the traditional musical instruments used by different groups of Iranian musicians during the fourth night of the online concert.
The online concert was organized by Iran Music Association with the participation of the Roudaki Cultural and Artistic Foundation and supported by the Music Office of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
Enthusiasts could watch the live performances at Instagram pages of the Association, Roudaki Foundation and hafdang.com virtually for free.
According to the chart of the program, 12 Iranian music groups performed in the event. The concert was held online in a bid to observe health protocols amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
The series of online concerts are going to be held in three Iranian months of Khordad, Tir and Mordad (May 22 to August 21) within three phases.
